Established in June 2003, Ocean Leader Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. is a Hong Kong-invested enterprise specializing in shipbuilding, ship repair, and marine engineering services. Over the years, we have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality construction and maintenance solutions to clients across Singapore, Hong Kong SAR, Greece, Mainland China, and other international markets.

To better serve our global clientele, the Company maintains a dedicated office in Hong Kong, responsible for international business development, project coordination, and customer support. Our shipbuilding and repair facilities are strategically located in Zhongshan City, within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, one of China's most dynamic maritime and industrial regions.

Situated along the key waterways of the Pearl River Delta, our shipyard enjoys excellent transportation links and logistical advantages, enabling efficient project execution and reliable service delivery for both domestic and international customers.

Foundation

Established in 2003, our shipyard specializes in commercial vessel newbuilding and ship repair. We formed our core technical team and completed the development of our shipbuilding facilities, creating a solid foundation for sustainable growth.

2004–2005

Commercial Production

Commenced full-scale production and successfully delivered a series of customized tankers, including 499 DWT and 1,000 DWT oil tankers, as well as 1,800m³ and 2,600m³ chemical tankers, demonstrating strong manufacturing and delivery capabilities.

2006–2011

Regional Expansion

Expanded into the Southeast Asian market with the continuous delivery of CCS-classed oil tankers to shipowners in Hong Kong and Singapore. Reliable quality and on-time delivery established long-term partnerships and a strong industry reputation.

2012–2016

International Certification

Achieved international standards with ABS classification approval and completed a major order of ten 700 DWT oil tankers for a leading Singapore shipping group, marking our entry into the global shipbuilding supply chain.

2017–2019

Global Market Development

Expanded into the European and North American markets with the successful delivery of three premium 920 DWT oil tankers to clients in Greece, demonstrating our capability in executing high-specification international projects.

2020 – Present

Integrated Marine Solutions

Continuously advancing our expertise in carbon steel, stainless steel, and composite vessel construction. Today, we provide integrated solutions covering custom design, newbuilding, and after-sales support, delivering reliable one-stop marine services to clients worldwide.
